Camelia Beauty is a beauty start-up that was originally created 6 years ago in Shanghai. We are a young, dynamic and international company that has created the brand Le Mini Macaron, which is sold in Sephora, ULTA, ASOS, Galeries Lafayette, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Feelunique, and other beauty retailers and department stores. Our brand has been featured in such leading media as Elle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Teen Vogue, Refinery 29, PopSugar, NYLON, Paulette, and many others. We are looking for dynamic, creative and motivated individuals to join our team.


 

PR & Influencer Manager

Key Duties

Influencers. Develop and manage influencer relationships. Includes negotiation of projects, sending product mailers, ongoing follow-up and relationship management, and tracking/analysis of results. Influencers to include paid and unpaid in beauty, lifestyle, nail, travel, etc...

  • Direct management of large, paid influencers

  • Supervise follow up with medium and micro influencers (with the support of the Marketing Intern)
  • Key markets – US, Canada and UK
  • Additional markets – Spain & Italy (with the support of Italian/Spanish Marketing Assistant or Intern)

PR/Media. Manage and develop database of beauty editors. Regular follow up to send press releases and images, product mailers, inform about new product launches, etc.

  • Direct management for US, Canada and UK

  • Supervision of Spain & Italy (with the support of Marketing Assistant or Intern)

PR and Influencer Agencies or Freelancers. Manage and serve as key contact for external agencies (or freelancers) hired to activate the brand on a local level. Key markets: US and Italy. Provide briefs, monitor campaigns, evaluate results, and admin (contract/billing). Work with Marketing Director and Ecommerce Manager to ensure and align on objectives/results.

Brand Collabs. Pitch and develop brand partnerships (collaborations) with other brands (beauty, fashion, lifestyle, etc) that fit with Le Mini Macaron to drive brand awareness and increased visibility/growth.

Marketing Materials. Work with marketing and creative team to develop brand marketing materials needed for PR and Influencer activities. Includes new product launches and seasonal brand campaigns.

Budget. Manage PR & Influencer portion of marketing budget. Includes proposal of paid marketing activities, securing management approvals, vendor negotiations, monthly budget reconciliation, invoicing, etc.


The ideal candidate has the following qualities and experience:

 

  • Minimum 4-5 years working experience in marketing/beauty in a relevant role
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and precisely
  • Ability to write emails well, especially for influencers and editors (clear, convincing and charming)
  • Independent
  • Detailed, organized and thorough
  • Hard-working and self-motivated

  • Problem-solving, not afraid to look for creative solutions, and positive attitude when faced with challenges
  • Sense of urgency, good time management skills, and ability to project manage multiple activities simultaneously

Account Management Intern

ABOUT THE JOB: We are looking for an Account Management Intern who is passionate and dedicated in learning about a growing business. This is a paid internship position that will support the Account Managers for Le Mini Macaron.

Key Dutiess

Work directly with Account Managers in day to day management of U.S. and Europe Retailers:

  • Assist in the preparation of Purchase Orders with different retailers

  • Assist in the preparation of client facing documents (presentations, price lists, SKU lists, vendor setup forms)

  • Report and review weekly sales data across different accounts
  • Communicate to retail partners of brand and marketing strategies

  • Assist in the expansion of assortment and sales with retail partners

  • Work with internal partners to gather material for clients

Marketing Intern - Italian Market

ABOUT THE JOB: This is a paid marketing internship position that will support the Marketing team for Le Mini Macaron with Italian market activation.

Key Duties

Work directly with social media manager in activation and day-to-day management of Italian social media platforms.

  • Daily social media engagement with Italian Le Mini Macaron community and the Italian nail, fashion and beauty industry.

  • Assist with Italian community management; answer questions and concerns on our Italian Instagram and Facebook.

  • Assist with Italian PR: influencer pitches and follow up, press releases, research and press clippings.
  • Assist with Influencer/PR mailers preparation and shipment.

  • Engish-Italian translation as needed.


The ideal candidate has the following qualities and experience:

  • Marketing school degree with a strong creative background

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Italian and English. Spanish will be a plus.

  • High-level knowledge of the following social media platforms: Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and Pinterest.

  • Creative and aware of all social media trends.

  • Comfortable appearing on camera.

Graphic Design Internship

ABOUT THE JOB: We are looking for a Graphic Design intern who is passionate about details,colors and big ideas. This is a paid internship position that will support our Design team and assist our graphic designers for the implementation of our campaigns for a minimum of 6 months.

Key Duties

Create visual assets for our e-commerce, newsletters, social media and paid ad formats.

  • Work on pre- and post-production of images & videos.

  • Provide support in the photo shoots and visual creation of presentations.

  • Proactively participate in content planning-sessions.
  • Provide your creative input to help developing outstanding results.

The ideal candidate has the following qualities and experience:

  • High-level of accuracy and an eye for design, attention to detail is your thing.

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, experience with Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus.

  • A portfolio of design projects you’re proud of.

  • Previous internship experience in graphic design. Experience with retouching pictures is a plus.

  • Absolute team-player & roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.

  • Fluent in English (French or Italian is a plus).

Office Manager

ABOUT THE JOB: We are looking for an organized, responsible, problem-solving and enthusiastic Office Manager for our company. The position is full-time and based in Barcelona.

Key Dutiess

Management of an office and team of 20 people

  • Report to company owners directly

  • Office management – order all supplies for office and keep office stocked daily -- kitchen, bathrooms and office supplies

  • Reception – answer the door and phone throughout the day, receive and distribute packages/mail daily, ship packages as needed. Greet visitors as needed.
  • Cleaning – organize weekly cleaner and take down the trash daily

  • Office Maintainance – purchase furniture/equipment as needed and organize workers for assembly

  • HR – manage onboarding process for new employees and departure for exiting employees

  • Communication – make announcements to the team for office activities, rules, updates, etc.

  • Finance & Bookkeeping – manage office petty cash, make purchases as needed, monthly utility bills, collect facturas and submit to finance monthly

  • Team Events – organize team lunches and meetings, including catering and setup

  • Travel – book transportation and hotels as needed

  • Personal – some personal tasks/errands for owners as needed

  • Administrative/Legal – coordination with landlord, assist owners as needed
