Camelia Beauty is a beauty start-up that was originally created 9 years ago in Shanghai. We are a young, dynamic and international company that has created the brand Le Mini Macaron, which is sold in Sephora, ULTA, ASOS, Galeries Lafayette, La Rinascente, Urban Outfitters, Feelunique, and other beauty retailers and department stores. Our brand has been featured in such leading media as Elle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Teen Vogue, Refinery 29, PopSugar, NYLON, and many others. Ecommerce Manager

The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of / (US & EU sites) and will lead the growth of the business while driving user experience, conversion optimization, and performance. You will succeed in this role if you’re passionate about eCommerce, user experience, CRO, retail tech/innovation, consumer behavior, data, and continuous improvement. You love strategy, but also relish rolling up your sleeves and doing the day-to-day work alongside your amazing co-workers.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Create and develop a clear and compelling eCommerce strategy to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Be a self-starting leader that owns the two websites from content strategy, development, testing, to measuring performance. Specifically focusing on customer experience and engagement as top priorities
  • Own Shopify admin management for creating products and collections, maintaining and updating site content such as the home page, custom landing pages, and navigation updates, and managing Shopify Apps
  • Own effective merchandising across the site, including new product set up, launches, cross/upselling, and smart promotions
  • Ensure consistency with both the Founder/Owner and Creative Director’s vision for the brand and overall aesthetic, across all touchpoints throughout the customer’s digital journey
  • Establish the eCommerce analytics program, continually review and analyze onsite behavior via Google Analytics (4 & Universal), Shopify, a/b testing, and other site behavior platforms to optimize onsite performance, while focusing on important KPIs such as UPT, AOV, LTV, Reviews, User Experience, Loyalty and Site Speed
  • Actively follow the on-site communications, promotions, creatives, experiences, and report back opportunities to the team
  • Actively monitor competitors and keep up to date with (beauty) industry best practices to share with the team for continued learning & optimization
  • Mentor and manage our Ecommerce Marketing Assistant, including designing a complementary work plan for this position
  • Work with supply chain team for inventory forecasting on monthly and quarterly basis to ensure stock levels are sufficient for revenue growth

The Ideal Candidate

  • ± 6 years of experience in eCommerce, ideally in branded CPG (EU and US)
  • Proven history of growing/scaling a website as an eCommerce owner, director, or manager
  • Experience with and excellent knowledge of Shopify platform
  • Experience managing an Ecommerce business with over 100 SKU's
  • Proven history in having increased AOV and LTV
  • Tech-savvy, data-obsessed and strategic. Knows how to balance data and creative intuition
  • Excellent understanding of web design and analytics, including UX and CRO best practices, sales journey optimization, traffic analysis, and reporting tools
  • Deep understanding of key eCom metrics including AOV, CRV and LTV, retention, ARPU
  • Management and ownership of GDPR compliance for both sites
  • Team player who also thrives working independently
  • An effective communicator who can align internal stakeholders
  • Experience in and passion for the beauty industry is a plus


    Social Media Manager

    The Ideal Candidate

    • Previous experience managing the social media accounts of a consumer brand – 3-5 years
    • Proven experience growing a brand’s social following and engagement (Instagram, Tik Tok Pinterest and Facebook)
    • Digitally native and addicted to Instagram, Tik Tok and Youtube! Intuitive understanding of what makes content engaging and how to create it.
    • Comfortable appearing on camera as one of the ‘faces’ of the brand for IG stories, IG Live, Tik Tok videos, etc.
    • Native English speaking, excellent copywriting skills and ability to bring alive the brand tone of voice
    • Leadership skills, managing a team of content creators, social media coordinator and community manager.
    • Experience with Social/Digital listening and scheduling tools approaches to measurement/metrics reporting etc.

    The Role

    • Develop an overall social media strategy and content calendar to drive engagement and increase followers.
    • Build and amplify a consistent brand and channel voice.
    • Ideate and execute timely, innovative daily content to engage our followers.
    • Write and post copy for Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, appropriately maintaining brand voice across platforms.
    • Identify, create and edit relevant content suitable for advertising.
    • Collaborate with PR and Digital Marketing to develop and execute the influencer initiatives on social media.
    • Pitch creative concepts for social media initiatives and campaigns to marketing teams
    • Implement marketing activities on all social channels.
    • Stay on top of emerging social channels, analyze and formally present opportunities for growth.
    • Capture photography/video and produce content, working with our creative team.
    • Report actionable insights and KPIs on a weekly basis.
    • Work closely with the Ecommerce team to analyze social media revenue.
    • Supervise Customer Care Associate on our team with regards to daily community management and social customer service.
    • Develop social media and campaign-specific KPIs and benchmarks to achieve and bypass brand goals and objectives.
    • Monitor and report trends in social media and channel topics.
    • Work closely with the accounts team to deliver engaging and relevant content for our retail partners.
    • Develop rigorous approach for experimenting, testing and measuring social media features.


    • Love for the beauty industry and product knowledge. (required)
    • 3-5 years’ experience managing multiple social media channels, preferably for a beauty brand.
    • Proven ability to engage, connect and build an audience across multiple channels.
    • Ability to interpret analytics, communicate results and formulate a strategy.
    • A passion for social media, beauty/cosmetics, and a positive, upbeat attitude.
    • Strong writing and editorial skills with utmost attention to detail. Ability to storytell in a creative manner.
    • Proven ability to lead coordinate and manage a team.
    • Experience with Social/Digital listening and scheduling tools approaches to measurement/metrics, reporting, etc.
    • Strong understanding of aesthetics, look and feel, and what works visually on social media
    • Knowledge of paid media tactics and strategies and how they relate to and can help to amplify social media programs and campaigns.
    • Experience with Photoshop and other editing skills is a plus.
    • Existing Influencer relations and experience is a plus.

      Marketing Manager – Italy

      About the Job

      • This position will be the Marketing Manager Italy for Le Mini Macaron. Reports to Marketing Director.

      Key Duties

        • Strategic Marketing. Develop marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and sales.
        • Social Media Management. Manage and drive growth for Instagram and Facebook accounts for the Italian Market. Includes management of localized content calendar (working with creative team for content creation, posting daily, community management/engagement, helping to run paid ads, promotions and contests).
        • PR/Media & Influencers. Develop and manage influencer relationships. Includes negotiation of projects, sending products, ongoing follow-up, and tracking/analysis of results. Develop beauty editors´ database in Italy and work closely with them to create strong relations.
        • Email Newsletters. Develop and grow database of Italian consumers with local newsletters and email marketing (includes translations).
        • Marketing Materials. Work with the creative team to develop brand marketing materials (including photo and video shoots). Adapt for the Italian market. Includes translation work.
        • Website. Support ecommerce team to maintain and improve the local language websites, includes copywriting as needed.
    • Budget. Manage allocated marketing spend (working with Marketing Director)

        PR/Influencer Marketing Intern

        This is a paid marketing internship position that will support the PR & Marketing team for Le Mini Macaron. This position has the potential to become a full-time job opportunity at the end of the internship.

        Key Duties

        • PR mailer coordination (help with packing, shipping, store pick-ups, etc.)
        • Research relevant influencer marketing trends and campaigns
        • Influencer research
        • Brand partnerships research
        • Influencer outreach
        • Creation of influencer briefs
        • Help with press clippings report
        • Help with Italian and Spanish copywriting and translations as needed
        • Participate in weekly social media meeting with marketing team
