How to
HOW TO APPLY
#1. PREP
Wash your hands thoroughly. Push back cuticles. Use a nail file to gently buff the surface of your nails. Use prep pads to wipe off oil, dust & residue. Let dry. Moisture on your nails can weaken the adhesion of the nail strips.
#2. APPLY NAIL STRIP
Select the strip that best fits the size of your nail & remove it from the sheet. If you are in between sizes, always size down, and then you can stretch the sticker wider to fit the nail. Apply the strip to the center of the nail, close to the cuticle, without actually on the cuticle. Press the strip firmly down on all sides of the nail, especially the nail edge. Use the wood stick to press the edges of the strip down to ensure there are no air bubbles.
#3. CUT NAIL STRIP
Clip off the excess length of each strip using nail clippers or scissors. Use the wood stick to press the strip firmly along the nail edge before curing.
#4. CURE
Cure under LED light for 60 seconds. Check to see if your strips have cured completely. They should be hard and sealed to the nail. This will boost the gloss and durability of the manicure. If needed, you may cure it for an additional 60 seconds. PRO TIP: Avoid exposing unused strips to LED light during the curing process, as this will cause them to harden.
#5. FILE
File the edge of your nails to remove the excess strips and shape your manicure. PRO TIP: For a glossy, long-lasting finish, top off your manicure with our Gel Shine Top Coat.
IMPORTANT
- Store unused strips inside the box at room temperature. Keep out of direct sunlight. If exposed, the strips will cure itself and become unusable.
- Do not expose unused strips to the LED Lamp during application.
- Do not wipe strips with alcohol prep pads. This may affect the glossy finish.
- Do not use if the skin is irritated or infected.
- When removing, do not rip or force the gel strip off the nail.
PRO TIPS:
- Keep nails dry: Any moisture on your nails will affect adhesion.
- Size down if unsure: It's better to go smaller and stretch the strip than to go too big.
- Press down firmly: Ensure edges are well-secured to avoid air bubbles.
- Use the wooden stick: Press the edges of the strip with a wooden stick to ensure it’s completely sealed to the nail.
- Cure properly: Cure for 60 seconds per nail; if needed, add another 60 seconds.
- Protect unused strips: Keep them away from LED light to avoid premature curing.
- For extra shine: Use LMM gel shine top coat after curing for a glossier finish.
